Southerly African Feed Manufacturers' Association (SAFMA) released

The Southern African Feed Manufacturers' Association (SAFMA) was officially released adhering to a contract at the 4th Worldwide Feed & Food Congress in Sun City, South Africa, under the auspices of reps from the International Feed Sector Federation (IFIF) and the Food and Agriculture Company of the United Nations (FAO).

The freshly formed SAFMA intends to deliver with each other reps from nations situated in the south of the continent consisting of South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia and Mauritius, to form a local feed makers association. The organization will certainly intend to deliver harmonization to the feed business of the region and to assist promote its policy of 'risk-free feed for secure food'.
